AICINĀJUMS UZ PRESES KONFERENCI
Mediju pārstāvji aicināti apmeklēt preses konferenci ceturtdien, 2026. gada 22. oktobrī, no plkst. 10.00 līdz 11.00 Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas izstāžu zālē, 1. stāvā, Mūkusalas ielā 3.
Pirms festivāla oficiālās atklāšanas festivāla kuratori un mākslinieki iepazīstinās ar RIXC Mākslas un zinātnes festivālu un izstādi 2026 „Klimata iztēle” (Climate Imagination), stāstot par festivāla ideju, izstādi un programmu, kā arī atbildot uz jautājumiem.
Preses konferencē piedalīsies:
- festivāla kuratori Raitis Šmits un Rasa Šmite, festivāla producente Agnese Baranova;
- festivāla vieslektors Philippe Sormani (STS Lab, University of Lausanne / Immersive Arts Space, Zurich University of the Arts, Switzerland);
- simpozija sesijas vadītāja un māksliniece Jane Tingley (SLOLab / York University, Canada);
- izstādes mākslinieki Christian Huebler (knowbotiq, Switzerland/Austria), Marcus Maeder (Switzerland), Benedikt Terwiel (Germany), Pauline Doutreluingne (Belgium/Germany), Ryu Furusawa (Japan), Mārtiņš Ratniks (Latvija), Maija Demitere (Latvija), Jurģis Peters (Latvija) un Laura Beloff (Finland).

PRESS CONFERENCE INVITATION
Media representatives are invited to attend a press conference on Thursday, 22 October 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00, at the National Library of Latvia, Mūkusalas iela 3, Exhibition Hall, Level 0 (ground floor).
Ahead of the official opening, the festival curators and participating artists will present the RIXC Art Science Festival and Exhibition 2026, Climate Imagination, offering an introduction to the festival’s concept, exhibition and programme, as well as an opportunity to ask questions.
The following participants are expected to attend in person:
– festival curators Raitis Smits and Rasa Smite and festival producer Agnese Baranova;
keynote speaker Philippe Sormani (STS Lab, University of Lausanne / Immersive Arts Space, Zurich University of the Arts, Switzerland);
– thematic session speaker and artist Jane Tingley (SLOLab / York University, Canada);
– exhibition artists Christian Huebler (representing knowbotiq, Switzerland/Austria), Marcus Maeder (Switzerland), Benedikt Terwiel (Germany), Pauline Doutreluingne (Belgium/Germany), Ryu Furusawa (Japan), Mārtiņš Ratniks (Latvia), Maija Demitere (Latvia), Jurģis Peters (Latvia) and Laura Beloff (Finland).
